Pretty in pink! When I was choosing this outfit I had Blair Waldorf on the mind. If you don’t know who Blair Waldorf is go get a subscription to Netflix and binge watch Gossip Girls. I always loved Blair’s style more than Serena’s, but I think this has a little combination of both. I have seen so many of outfits with silk or silk-like camisoles that I had to buy one.
I absolutely love the color of this blouse, or camisole, or what ever the name is for this top. It’s a nice pale pink and the fabric is so soft and fluid like. This piece is very versatile which is another reason why I bought it, it is easy to mix and match for multiple style options. I added a simple nude belt to match my nude heels.
I was looking around the store when I saw these pair of shorts and they immediately reminded me of the safari style shorts. These shorts were a high waisted style, which means they would give my little legs some length. The design is very simple and the color is an easy green to pair. Big pockets on shorts, skirts, or dresses are always a plus.
Nude heels match with everything and I have always had nude pumps in my closet, but I needed a new style. This style had become very trendy this year and I finally purchased my own pair. The style reminds me of snake skin. The heel is not too high, nor too low (I don’t like low heels), and they are very comfortable to walk in. I think pairing these heels with this outfit provided a little bit of flare.
The back side of my top is a low V with criss cross strings. This adds just a little more detail to an otherwise simple top. The low V shows a little skin in a classy way without showing too much.
I had to wear my favorite chokers! The necklaces are so dainty and cute and the can be styled with almost any outfit.
