Feminine = A Skirt and Boots

Aug 4, 2016

One of my favorite things to do when I’m styling my outfit is mix and match feminine or really girly pieces with more grungy laid back pieces.

This entire outfit is made up of items that I’ve had in my closet for about a year or two. I have a tendency to keep certain pieces of clothing that I really like even I know I won’t wear it all that often because I think to myself, ” this is just too pretty or it’s a staple piece that will come in handy later.” So I keep it just in case!

Wearing boots is probably my go to for almost every outfit, and if it’s not boots than it’s either heels or sneakers, I hardly ever wear sandals anymore. Which makes no sense really since I live in florida you’d think I would wear sandals everyday, but I’m kind of weird when it comes to feet and boots have just always been my go to shoes.

Had to put the hair up in a pony for this humid weather ’cause it’s just not possible to wear my hair down everyday during the summer. However, I’ve always preferred my hair down than up!

“You’re just jealous”

I thought the quote was cute and sassy lol. There will always be someone that has something negative to say and I’ll just think, “you’re just jealous” and be on my merry way. This shirt just reminds to keep my head up and I also find it pretty funny. Sticks and stones.

Is this skirt just not every girl’s dream??

Because it’s mine! I love this skirt because it’s nice and flow.  Also the details on it make it that much more feminine and whimsical. It’s sheer as well and that just adds to the affect in my opinion and the high waist accentuates my own. And that is never a bad thing know what I’m saying?DSC06821The boots I’m wearing are some of my favorite booties because they are completely black. They don’t have a zipper or any embellishments. There’s nothing wrong with decorative boots, but simple is always more versatile.  But these booties are simple and sometimes thats the best way to go=].  The Chelsea boot style was seriously IN last year and still is and I love that these have a chunky heel.

I love this picture! If only I didn’t have a bandaid on my neck it would be perfect lol. The bandaid is from a biopsy my dermatologist did in relation to some skincare problems, nothing to worry about!

I have to admit, I LOVE your outfit, however, I’d never wear it because I can’t handle skirts… They make me feel extremely insecure.. so..
