I think it’s safe to say that music is a powerful influencer. It can make you happy, sad, energetic, lazy, nostalgic and the emotions go on. Some days when I workout I am just NOT feeling it, I debate on whether I should go or not. The days when I’m feeling lazy I will open up my workout playlist and pick a song. I might not be at the gym yet, but the songs on my playlist always motivate me and get my ass in gear.
When I workout I like to workout hard or there’s no point in working out for me. I spend at least an hour at the gym and I always do a little bit of cardio. My workout playlist helps me pump harder and get my exercises done instead of standing around in between sets. I’ll admit that the songs that really get me going are songs about women just being bad asses. I just start thinking, “yeah you got this girl”, “you’re a bad B*$ch” and other things that make me feel good lol. But I do have other songs that just get you in the mood to workout hard.
Go Hard or Go Home Girl:
I know, more than a couple songs are about exes or breaking up, but I don’t even focus on that lol. I love all the songs on the list because they make me feel good. Songs like Sorry Not Sorry and Shout Out To My Ex really focus on hyping women up. I’m not a big rap fan so you don’t see many songs like that on my playlist. However, there are a few songs that I really like which is why they made the workout playlist.
