All of my current makeup favorites. Products I'm loving and have been using everyday.

I don’t like to post monthly makeup favorites because I don’t change too often what I use on a daily basis. But it’s been a minute and my routine has changed quite a bit. I wanted to give you an update on the current makeup favorites, what I’ve been loving and what’s really working for me. If you don’t know me well or don’t follow me on insta here’s a little bio. I am a 25 year old woman with oily, acne-prone skin, I have some hyperpigmentation and scarring from said acne. My pores are on the larger side and I have the WORST dark circles, let me tell you. So there’s that and when a product can really conceal my dark circles, hide my scarring, keep my greasiness down, and not feel cakey, I’m immediately obsessed.

I always start with my base and this is no exception! The Tarte Poreless Primer is a really great primer that I have been using EVERYDAY. It really just smoothes out my texture and really helps keep my skin matte. I have a hard time finding good primers that keep my skin from getting oily, but this one just WORKS. Now, I almost forgot, before I put on the Tarte primer I will swipe a little of Milk Makeup’s Hydrating Oil Stick. All it is, is just an oil in stick form, literally that’s it. But it really does provide that extra hydration and it doesn’t feel oily.( I also like to use it on top of my foundation as a highlighter for that glass skin effect!)

The last primerI like to use, I know so many, is the Tatcha The Silk Canvas primer. This is one of the best primers to minimize the look and texture of pores hands down! It is a bit pricey, so a really great dupe for it is the ELF Putty Primer!

Now that my base is done let’s get on with the rest! Lately, I’ve been having a bad time with my foundation separating around my chin and upper lip area. It looks like my pores are gradually enlarging! On a random stop to Walmart I decided to buy a new one, I just love testing new foundations. And I am so GLAD I did, this foundation is SO GOOD. The Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation is in my list of top 5 best foundations now. It really is that good. it doesn’t feel heavy when I apply it, there’s NO separation on my chin, and it really holds off my oiliness.

Highlight and contour next! This isn’t a super new or exciting part of my routine, but they’re great products so I’m going to talk about them. One of my all time favorite contour products is the Nudestix Bondi Bae cream bronzer! I love the shade, it’s not too warm and it gives a natural looking contour. When it comes to concealers I really don’t try out that many because I’ve already found some that really work. The L’orĂ©al Infallible Full Wear Concealer is really great, gives you full coverage and doesn’t feel cakey. (perfect for covering up those bags). I have been using this on an everyday basis and a little goes a long way, the pigmentation is so good.

Blush is something I’ve really been into, specifically cream blush! Especially the Nudestix Nudies Bloom blush in Cherry Blossom Babe! It’s the perfect pink blush that still looks natural and I’ve been wearing it everyday! I just find that cream blushes really give you a glowy and youthful look! The color doesn’t fade easily and by the end of the day I still have that fresh, dewy color on. Major plus! Next up, highlight! Now that my blush, contour and concealer are on before I set everything I’ve been applying liquid highlighter. I really liquid highlighter for a brilliant, but natural looking effect!

Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlight in Champagne Pop is my go to. This looks and blends so beautiful on the skin. When the light catches the highlight you just look so glowy I love it. Also, it’s such a good liquid highlight that I don’t have to add a powder highlight on top! Now that I have all that done I go ahead and set my face using Dermablend’s Translucent Loose Powder. My oldie, but goodie that always comes through for me. I like to tap a little onto my blush too just to set it and make it last!

Now, for the eyes I keep it super simple for an everyday look! It’s easier for me if I don’t know what I’m going to wear, I don’t want to clash lol. I use the same Fenty bronzer and apply it all over the lid and onto my crease. This gives me a nice, but natural wash of color. Then, I use the Hourglass Scattered Lights Glitter Eyeshadow in Reflect on my lid. It’s a really pretty pink champagne color that gives that beautiful glassy, wet look. This is probably my favorite part of my routine! To finish it off I use another oldie, but goodie, L’oreal’s Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara. This gives my puny, short lashes length and volume without being clumpy!

Finally, to finish everything off I’ve been loving this lip combo. I use MAC’s Stripdown Lip Pencil to line my lips and yes I do overline them a bit. It’s a darker browny nude that I also use to darken up a super light lipstick. Then, I pair it with MAC’s Yash Lipstick this really pretty warm pinky nude color that is great for a natural look. And that’s a wrap on my everyday makeup look with all my current favorites!

What are you loving right now? What are some of your all time favorites!? Let me know in the comments, I love trying new products!
